leSchal is a charity project. It incorporates the design and production of hand-woven cotton scarves in Cambodia and their sale in Europe. The entire profit goes to the Angkor Hospital for Children in Siem Reap. With their simple pattern the scarves remain in style with current trends and grant a constant income. Sales are pushed with offline measures and pop-up-stores. In spite of operating without a marketing budget, leSchal succeeds in gaining a market share and supporting this good cause. Without moral pressures, both European shoppers and the Cambodian people can benefit.
